The design
The bold theme uses a prominent but contemporary-looking red as the backdrop for the store; it’s big and attention-grabbing and will make a standout impression on your store visitors.
The theme also features a square grid format for the image display with beautifully rounded corners to accentuate the bold aesthetic across the theme and the rounded font. (Note that when clicking into the image, you’ll see the image at its original ratio and format.)
When viewing the theme on a desktop, you’ll see medium-sized images displayed in each row by default, but you can change this. It looks fantastic when you have a large set of pictures where all will be displayed on the page, as it’s similar (but far more stylish) to how social media feeds look.
What types of images does this theme suit in particular?
We designed the bold theme to give your photos a boost in a colourful environment, and anything that has bright, vibrant colours will do well with this theme; the examples show a series of travel images with blue skies, epic sunsets and lush greens and reds, which will be complemented by the colours used in the theme.
Simply put, anything vibrant, colourful and abstract will work exceptionally well with this theme, or if you’ve got images featuring lots of deep blues (like skies and seas) or any other types of solid blocks of colour, they’ll fit well too as it’ll provide a strong contrast throughout.
