Whether you've got an idea for a video tutorial, a written feature, a beautiful image series of images, or an inspirational story behind one of your shots - we want to hear from you!

We're always looking for new work to feature and fresh ideas and tips to share, and we thought who best not to ask than the photographer community!

How to submit your idea

‍

‍1 Send us an email to focus@picfair.com - and in the subject of your email, include a short title based on your idea
‍

2 Send us a detailed pitch in the copy of your email, and include any relevant links you want to refer to, such as galleries or external sources that are relevant to the piece. If you have writing samples - please do include these too, we'd love to see them

3 If you want to send over any images, please send these as JPEG attachments, a maximum of 5 images would be ideal

4 Don't forget to include information such as the anticipated word count, why you think it would be a good fit for Focus, the number of images, video duration, who is the target audience for your idea, and anything else that provides additional context to your suggestion

1 We pay for submissions, and rate will be decided upon when submissions are accepted

2 We won't be able to accept all submissions sent over to us, however it doesn't mean that we won't revisit your idea in the future - so don't take any rejection to heart

3 We'll try to get back to every submission within two weeks with a yes or no. If you haven't heard from us by then, please don't hesitate to sent a polite follow up message

4 All content may be published and edited at any time, and may be used across anywhere on Focus and Picfair, and also may be published on other sites
