The design
The Retro Theme is designed to transport you back to the classic days of film photography (some would say the Golden Era of photography).
Our retro theme features a colour palette inspired by traditional film canister roll colours, with a warm yellow background and a bold red for the text.
The font is playful and has old-fashioned, 70s vibes, which perfectly complements the theme.
The image display by default is set to a square grid, with large images displayed across the screen, featuring rounded corners and a drop shadow, designed to be reminiscent of handheld, vintage prints.
What types of images does this theme suit in particular?
If you regularly shoot film, have scanned film stills from your archive or process your images with film presets (check out Picfair's Presets here), we think this Picfair Themes fits those images perfectly, as shown in our example store!
Any kind of documentary, street photography, and travel photography will look good, too, but we recommend trying out lots of different images. We’d love to see what you do with this theme!
