The design
The design of the Mono theme is truly akin to the black and white photography aesthetic in its nature, with the frame comprised of a soft grey backdrop against dark grey text, beautifully matched for monochrome photography.
The font is a fine, narrow typeset styled to fit the black-and-white photographic aesthetic–reminiscent of the text font you would see on gallery walls.
