Kat Lawman

Kat studied photography and videography in college in her teenage years, learning how to process black and white film in the darkroom, however Kat's journey began as a photographer really began in 2020 when she moved to Snowdonia and qualified as a Mountain Leader. The skills acquired taught her how to navigate the mountains of Snowdonia at night; finding a deep love for the outdoors and developing a fascination with the night sky.

Kat has recently set up new business ‘Adventure Nightscapes’ to help others get out and start photographing the night sky, by offering night sky astro photography workshops In North Wales and overseas.​

Kat's images have been published for articles in Astronomy magazine, BBC Sky at Night Magazine, National Geographic, Time Out, Forbes, The Guardian, various Focus articles, among other newspapers and publications.
