Introducing Picfair's Latest Store of the Week: Marco Italiani

Marco Italiani is a photographer based in northern Italy who started shooting on analogue film as a teenager. The patience that instils is still evident throughout his work: long exposures, still water, light breaking through forest canopy.

His Store spans seascapes, woodland, mountain, wildlife and abstract work, with around 230 images across six albums. The landscapes set the tone throughout: calm, unhurried and technically precise.

How is Marco Italiani's Picfair Store Set Up?

Marco's Store uses a Light Theme, which keeps everything clean and uncluttered and lets the photography do the talking. Photos are arranged in rows, giving you a good sense of the range of subjects in a single scroll.

The Store is organised into six albums covering his main areas of interest. The Seascape album is the largest, with 59 images, and takes in everything from the calm of the Adriatic lagoon at sunrise to the painted houses of Manarola at blue hour. The Mountain album covers the Dolomites, and the Woodland album is full of misty Italian forest light.

Marco runs his Store on a custom domain, with a circular MI monogram logo that gives the whole thing a neat, considered identity.
